Every span that quirks lets stand for printed words is put back in the printed spelling; everything else, case and punctuation included, stays as heard. A full form elisions gives for an elided spelling is left as heard, because a reader who says it has said the printed word. A recogniser and its table answer as one, so whatever checks the result needs no table of the build that heard it.
